Parental parenting is one of the main factors that affect the formation of character and development of children. In an Islamic perspective, parenting is not only oriented towards fulfilling physical needs, but also on fostering morals, spirituality, and social responsibility. This study aims to analyze the concept of parenting in an Islamic perspective and its influence on children's development. The research uses a qualitative approach with the library research method. Data is obtained from various scientific sources, such as the Qur'an, hadiths, books, articles, and relevant journals, then analyzed using content analysis techniques. The results of the study show that Islamic parenting emphasizes a balance between affection, example, habituation, guidance, effective communication, and the inculcation of religious values in daily life. The application of this parenting style contributes positively to the moral, social, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual development of children. Thus, parenting in an Islamic perspective is an important foundation in forming a generation that is faithful, noble, independent, and responsible so that they are able to face various challenges in life in accordance with the values of Islamic teachings.
