INTERNALIZATION OF THE VALUE OF WORSHIP DISCIPLINE THROUGH THE RAMADAN AGENDA BOOK FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the internalization of the value of worship discipline through the use of the Ramadan Agenda Book in students and identify factors that affect its effectiveness in character formation. This study uses a qualitative approach and content analysis of relevant literature and documents. The results of the study show that the Ramadan Agenda Book through recording and monitoring activities for the implementation of prayers, fasting, and reading the Qur'an. The recording process that is carried out repeatedly during the month of Ramadan encourages the formation of habituation while developing the values of honesty, responsibility, and self-awareness of students. The involvement of parents through monitoring and verification of worship activities at home and reinforcement from teachers also strengthens the process of internalizing these values. However, the use of the Ramadan Agenda Book also faces challenges in the form of a tendency for some students to view it as an administrative formality so that recording does not always reflect the actual practice of worship. These findings show that the effectiveness of the Ramadan Agenda Book is not solely determined by the existence of the instrument, but by the quality of mentoring, parental example, and pedagogical reinforcement from teachers. The implications of this study confirm that the Ramadan Agenda Book can be developed as a more reflective and participatory religious character learning medium, by shifting its orientation from just administrative recording to a continuous monitoring process and habituation of worship.
