Abstract

The role of teachers in education is very important, because it is the spearhead in improving the quality of education, especially in shaping students who are intelligent, moral and have a good personality. Teachers must have four basic competencies, namely pedagogical, professional, personal and social competencies and carry out their duties and functions as educators in accordance with the demands of the values contained in the Qur'an.
