STRATEGI MADRASAH RISET DALAM MENGEMBANGKAN POTENSI RISET SISWA: (Studi Kasus Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Kudus)

Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Kudus is one of the upper secondary level educational institutions that has the capacity to organize research programs. This is proven by the existence of facilities, resources and trained educators to conduct in-depth and relevant research. This interesting research program is also one of the advantages for MAN 2 Kudus. The recognition of MAN 2 Kudus as a madrasah that organizes research programs is realized by facts on the ground with the large number of students excelling in the field of research. Having outstanding students certainly involves the role of a madrasah in its educational strategy. This research was conducted to determine the strategies used by madrasas in an effort to increase the research potential of students. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach research method with the research instruments used are interview guidelines, observation and document analysis. The research results show that MAN 2 Kudus's strategy as a research madrasah in developing the research potential that students already have is by: 1) providing an introduction to research to students when they first enter the madrasah, 2) providing research material during extracurricular hours, 3) implementing 5 sub-divisions research field and 4) has collaboration with national research institutions and well-known research laboratories. The implications of this research are: 1) Increasing Awareness of the Importance of Research, 2) Developing Research Skills, 3) Integrating Research in the Curriculum, 4) Encouraging Collaboration and Innovation, 5) Establishing a Research Community.
