This study examines tourist expenditure patterns as a form of individual financial decision-making and their contribution to local tourism revenue in Ranupani Tourism Village, Lumajang Regency, Indonesia. Using a quantitative survey approach, data were collected from 100 respondents selected through incidental sampling and analyzed descriptively. The findings show that most tourists are young independent travelers who prefer short one-day visits. Tourist spending is mainly allocated to food and beverages, local transportation, and souvenirs, while expenditure on accommodation and tourism services remains relatively low. As a result, the economic contribution generated from tourism activities is still limited despite the high number of visitors. The study highlights a high visitor–low economic impact phenomenon and suggests that tourism development strategies should focus on extending tourists’ length of stay, diversifying tourism products, and strengthening local business participation.
