Call for Applications - Scientific Editor Role

We are looking for enthusiastic researchers to provide an exceptional author experience for a diverse portfolio of journals. This is a great opportunity to develop your editorial skills and knowledge.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support the peer review process: screen new manuscripts for compliance with publishing ethics requirements and manage the peer review assessment.
- Collaborate with authors through the editorial process to help them align their paper with the journal’s editorial requirements.
- Make final editorial decisions on papers within agreed editorial turnaround times.
If you:
- are interested in developing your editorial skills,
- and in supporting authors through the editorial process,
- hold a PhD or equivalent degree,
- are currently employed in a full-time role in a research or medical institution,
- have substantial experience as an author and reviewer in peer-reviewed international scientific publications,
- do not currently hold an editorial position (editorial board memberships excepted),
- have solid written and verbal English communication skills,
