FOCUS AND SCOPE
Environmental and Agriculture Management (EAM) publishes original research and evidence syntheses on circular and nature-based management of tropical agro-environmental systems. The journal prioritizes studies that integrate soil health, crop productivity, and environmental risk reduction through waste-derived amendments and sustainable management practices across the soil-plant-water continuum. EAM welcomes experimental, field, and interdisciplinary research, as well as systematic/mini reviews, with a particular interest in Southeast Asian and other tropical contexts with global relevance.
Core topics include:
- Organic waste valorization: composting, bokashi, vermicomposting, biofertilizers, ash/biomass-based amendments
- Soil health & nutrient management: peatlands, acid soils, marginal/suboptimal lands, soil biology
- Crop-environment management: sustainable horticulture and cropping systems linked to environmental outcomes
- Emerging contaminants in agro-environments: microplastics, heavy metals, interactions, mitigation and fate/transport (especially where linked to agriculture/organic waste streams)
- Integrated systems: intercropping/pasture systems improving soil and forage quality with environmental co-benefits
