ARCHIVING POLICY
Environmental and Agriculture Management (EAM) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and integrity of its published scholarly content. The journal recognizes digital preservation as an essential responsibility in maintaining the continuity and reliability of the scientific record.
All published articles and journal issues are electronically archived and made publicly accessible through the journal's official Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. Previous publications can be accessed through the EAM Journal Archives.
To support long-term digital preservation, EAM participates in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), a distributed archiving service developed by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) using LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) technology. This system preserves copies of published journal content across independent preservation nodes, helping safeguard scholarly publications against permanent loss or disruption of access to the original publishing platform.
EAM monitors its digital preservation activities through the PKP PN integration in OJS. Successfully preserved deposits are identified by the LOCKSS: Agreement status, indicating that participating preservation nodes have verified consistent archived copies.
Universitas Islam Madura, as the publisher, together with the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), as the managing unit, supports the journal's commitment to responsible digital preservation and the continuity of its electronic publishing infrastructure.
