KONSEP PENDIDIKAN ANAK MENURUT ABDULLAH NASIH ULWAN DALAM KITAB TARBIYATUL AULAD FI AL-ISLAM DAN RELEVANSINYA DENGAN PENDIDIKAN ISLAM MASA KINI
Abstract
According to Abdullah Nashih Ulwan, the children's education system is to provide children with education in accordance with Islamic teachings, solving children's problems from birth to adulthood. According to him, his book explains solutions to children's problems from the aspects of faith, social, morals and child psychology which are adapted to the Al-Qur'an and hadith. This research method uses a qualitative research approach and is a literature study type. The data source is Abdullah Nasih Ulwan's thoughts in the book Tarbiyatul Aulad fi al-Islam. The results of this research reveal that the concept of children's education is that education not only functions to build intellectuality but is more about efforts to build and have an awareness of monotheism. Children are a trust for their parents, their pure hearts are a valuable substance. Children's education is part of individual education to prepare them to become useful members of society. Children's education materials such as faith, morals, physical, intellectual, mental, social, and sex education. Meanwhile, the relevance of the concept of children's education according to Abdullah Nasih Ulwan to the current concept of Islamic education is very relevant, because it is by the aim of education, namely the formation of a noble personality. The implications of this research are: 1) The importance of education based on Islamic values, 2) Character and moral formation, 3) Education as a holistic process, 4) The role of parents and teachers, 5) Modern context and contemporary challenges.
