Abstract

Radish plants are a type of tuber that can be used almost all of its parts by humans. The problems of sandy land are low organic matter, high porosity, low cation exchange capacity and high temperature. The purpose of the study was to analyze the effect of goat manure and NPK 16-16-16 fertilizer on the growth and yield of white radish in sandy soils. The research method used a factorial group random design consisting of 2 treatment factors. Level 1 is goat manure treatment with doses of 10, 20 and 30 t ha-1 while level 2 is NPK doses of 100, 200 and 300 kg ha-1. The combination of treatments was repeated 3 times, bringing the total to 27 experimental units. The variables observed were: plant height, number of leaves and wet weight of the crown.  Based on the results of the study, it shows that  the treatment of goat manure 30 t ha-1 has a real effect effectively on the variables of observation of plant height, number of leaves and wet weight of the crown. The treatment of NPK 16-16-16 from various levels had no significant effect on all observation variables, both plant height, number of leaves and wet weight of the crown. The combination of goat manure treatment and NPK 16-16-16 of all observed variables also had no effect.
