Bandura’s social learning theory emphasizes vicarious learning, in which individuals acquire knowledge and behaviors through observing experiences, supported by processes of attention, retention, and behavioral reproduction. This theory is relevant to the implementation of the Independent Curriculum, which provides students with greater autonomy to develop their learning according to their talents and interests under teacher guidance. In this curriculum, the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) are replaced by the Criteria for Achieving Learning Objectives (KKTP), allowing students to focus not merely on grades but also on self-development and exploration of their potential. This study employed a literature review method by collecting and analyzing relevant scholarly articles related to the topic. The findings indicate that Bandura’s social learning theory can be effectively applied in elementary schools through learning activities and assignments designed in accordance with students’ individual talents and interests
